Game instructions:
A multi-player, multi-level collaborative board game, Flight of Pollen is a vessel for collaborative engagement in the pollination processes of the bush of Aotearoa / New Zealand.
The two teams of players (DAY/NIGHT) are various pollinators, each with variable powers. Everyone must co-operate to bring flowers enough pollen before chapter end (while they’re still open).
Meanwhile, the weather cards, when turned, affect and limit pollinator movement.
If a chapter is successfully finished, then the lid of the next chapter is lifted. There are four chapters in the game, and in each chapter, teams gain new pollinators/berry eaters, while, on the ground cloth, new flowers open.
If pollinators work together and carry enough pollen from flower to flower, then, as berry eaters join in, the winning team (in the final chapter) is the one that collects the most ensuing berries and seeds.
CHAPTER A: Pick up and drop off
CHAPTER B: Wind is a pollinator too
CHAPTER C: Passage of seed
